IDF troops from the 769th Brigade found numerous weapons in a kitchen and children’s bedroom of a house in a South Lebanese village, the army said on Sunday.



The night operation was carried out on the basis of accurate intelligence information.



In the house, which served as a weapons depot, troops found an RPG, launchers, rockets and grenades among the dolls, the IDF noted.



In addition to weapons, the soldiers also reportedly found tactical tools and intelligence documents used by the military Hezbollah terrorists who had holed up within the structure.

IDF is active in southern Lebanon


The military noted that troops continued to operate in the area, eliminating terrorists in close-quarters combat, as well as through precision munitions and airstrikes.



The IDF further added that when destroying terrorist targets that contained weapons, secondary explosions occurred, indicating the existence of further weapons in the area.
